The Certified Infrared Thermographers Association (CITA) was established to unite Infraspection Institute Certified Infrared
Thermographers and provide an ongoing support mechanism for members.
Our objective is to enhance our professional credibility through sharing, learning and continual advancement of our profession
through the mutual exchange of information. Our unification symbolises the significant market presence that our graduates
have both locally and overseas and serves to protect our standards of conduct, training and ethics in thermography.
CITA’s mission is to support practicing thermographers with educational, certification and support services. We provide timely,
accurate and unbiased information about infrared hardware, applications and program development. We are deeply committed
to the global advancement of thermography as a science and a profession.
Membership to CITA can be obtained through either our Affiliate Program or our Certification Program.
Affiliate Membership Any graduate of the Infraspection Institute Certified Infrared Thermographer Program can join CITA for
free as an affiliate member. They can enjoy all the privileges that Certified Members enjoy.
Certification Membership CITA provides a 2nd Party Certification Program to endorse your skills and training. Our program
ensures that you meet the requirements set forth by the following Standards:

We provide practical examination and assessment of your skills and work product to ensure you meet the required standards.
CITA offers level 1, 2, 3 Categories of Thermographer Certification.
